Under the leadership of the social director, you will be one of two operational managers in the management group of the Social Administration, along with other strategic support functions in the administration. The administration is characterized by a clear systems theory approach where we strive for a holistic view, shared resource utilization, and close collaboration both within the administration's units and with other partners within and outside the municipality.

Right now, there is an intensive effort to transition the administration to work in accordance with the new Social Services Act, focusing on making the operations preventive, knowledge-based, gender-equal, and easily accessible. This aligns well with the administration's recently adopted vision.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of two operational managers, your main task is to have a strategic perspective and create conditions for the operations to be well-equipped for the extensive transition work that municipal social services are facing. This includes, among other things, the new Social Services Act, the transition to Close Care, secured competence supply, and demographic challenges.

While you work on these future societal challenges, you should also be able to focus on delivering good quality in the present and keeping within the given economic frameworks.

Major focus areas will be to develop a preventive social service and strengthen municipal primary care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse and has many years of experience working within municipal social services. It is a prerequisite that you have previously worked as a manager at a strategic level.

We expect you to have a systems theory approach and understand the value of collaboration to achieve good results.
